According to reports sighted by eaglessightnews on some online news paper , sources said the governor died on Wednesday at 67 year in Lagos State.

Quoting Punch , it was gathered that a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the state said arrangements were being concluded to swear in his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

The state government is yet to speak on the matter.

Efforts to get confirmation from the Alagbaka Government House proved abortive as of the time of filing this report.

When contacted, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Richard Olabode, did not take his calls nor respond to text messages sent to his phone by one of our correspondents.

Further attempt confirm the sad incident from state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mrs Bamidele Ademola-Olateju, was abortive as she  did not take her calls when  contacted her on the matter
