Just In: NUC Approves Emmanuel Alayande University of Education As Makinde Receives Confirmation Letter(Photos)

Eagle’s Sight News reports that the National Universities Commission has approved the upgrade of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education to University of Education.

This is coming about two weeks after Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, assented  to law  the bill which is seeking to upgrade the Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, to a University of Education.

According to a recent post gathered from Makinde’s official social media handle’s , he stated”I am happy to report that we received confirmation from the National Universities Commission that the Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo is now recognised as the Emmanuel Alayande University of Education. Many thanks to everyone who worked tirelessly to make this happen!”
