….MEET TOWARDS MAKINDE SECOND TERM.
The Oyo State PDP Youths Arm held its stakeholders meeting 9th Friday May ,2022 in preparation towards the 2023 election in Oyo State.
The meeting which was held at Oyo State PDP Secretariat, Molete. Ibadan was honoured by political jugarnaults, bigwigs which includes , the PDP state Excos,All Young Aspirants, Young Appointees and Serving Members of the State Assembly and other critical stakeholders in the youth arm of the party.
The meeting agenda aimed at ensuring total support for Governor Seyi Makinde re-election and all aspirants vying for various positions in the party in 2023.
The meeting also engaged serving appointees, Oyo State House of Assembly Honourables under the People’s Democratic Party on the cogent need of PDP youths inclusion in their dealings from the grassroot to the state.
Some of the concern youths stressed on important of the youth stakeholders to the winning of election by individual aspirants vying for one position or the other. They then encouraged stable cooperation from the dignitaries in attendance.
While addressing the youths during the meeting,the Oyo state PDP Chairman Hon Dayo Ogungbenro ably represented by the the state secretary Alh Wasiu Adeleke advised the dignitaries on the need to go back to their constituencies and get more familiar with them and ensure they never go with empty hands.He urged all political aspirants to play politics in the spirit of sportsmanship adding that the success of the party should be uttermost agenda to everyone as against personal aspirations.
He however called on all the youth stakeholders and party members to intensify efforts on membership mobilization drive assuring that what is not enough at the moment will soon be in excess. He advised the youths for their cooperation as all their expectations from serving PDP appointees and elected Honourables would be aptly attended to.
Reacting to the concerns of the youth the Speaker of the Oyo state house of assembly Rt Hon Adebo Ogundoyin and the commissioner of youth and sport Asiwaju Seun Fakorede added that they will do the needful and not let the youths down.
The speaker further gave kudos to the Oyo state government for his performances.
Thanking the dignitaries and the youths in attendance, Oyo state youth leader Hon Michael Ogunshina ,In his remarks while speaking to Eaglesighttnews correspondence in attendance, he thank all attendees for honouring the meeting. He urged for continious cooperation of the youth stakeholders and party members to remain united urging them to shun any form of divisive conducts and behaviors capable of projecting the party in bad light.
Speaking further , he added that the main reason of the meeting is for the governor re election which is the uttermost concerns of the youths. He added
