In a recent development, the Oyo State Post-Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has announced the commencement of the screening exercise, distribution of appointment letters, and documentation for newly recruited teachers across the State.
The recent update is gathered on a post shared by the Oyo State Government X handle on Friday .
According to the information gathered, the requirements for the Screening Exercise are as follow:
1. Printout of Congratulatory Letter
2. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
3. Evidence of Local Government of Origin
4. Original Certificate Credentials
5. NYSC Certificate, Letter of Exception, or Attestation
6. Change of Name Documents (if applicable)
7. Evidence of Medical Test from a Government Approved Hospital (to be done later)
8. Two Recent Passport Photographs
9. Two Office Files with Two Photocopies of All Required Documents
The Commission has emphasised that all postings of newly recruited teachers to zones will be carried out solely by the Headquarters. Swapping of zonal postings at the zonal level will not be allowed.
For all enquiries and clarifications, applicants are advised to contact the TESCOM Headquarters directly.
The update also added that the screening will take place in individual zones. A letter will be sent to each successful individual tomorrow, 28 December 2024.
