Tinubu in a Closed Door Meeting With Gov Makinde, Wike, Ibori Others
The President of Nigeria,Bola Tinubu is currently in a closed door meeting with Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, immediate-past governor of Rivers State, Nnyesom Wike, and a former Delta State governor, James Ibori, at the State House, Abuja.
The meeting started after the President met with the Progressives Governor’s forum. where he announced the appointment of Hon femi Gbajabiamila as chief of staff and George Asume as SGF
Eagle’s Sight News recalls that Makinde and Wike were part of the G-5 governors, who supported the presidential aspiration of Tinubu even though they are members of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ibori was said to have worked for the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last general elections as his candidate for the PDP governorship election lost to the candidate of the former governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

There has been unconfirmed rumour that Ibori may soon defect to the APC, having lost control of the PDP in Delta State.
Wike on his own is having a running battle with the leadership of the PDP.
