Transfer: Man City defender, Couto leaves Etihad for new club

Manchester City defender, Yan Couto will leave Pep Guardiola’s side to join Borussia Dortmund this summer transfer window.

This was disclosed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet on X on Saturday morning.

“Yan Couto joins Borussia Dortmund on €25m deal plus €5m add-ons from Man City. Confirmed,” Romano tweeted.

Couto joined Man City in 2020 from Brazilian side Coritiba FC, but has spent time on loan at different clubs.

The Brazilian spent last season on loan spell at Girona.

The 22-year-old has never made appearance for Guardiola’s side.
