In light of the recent tragic events at the Ibadan Children’s Funfair, the former Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families affected by this devastating incident.
Hon. Bibire, in his statement, expressed profound sorrow over the loss of young lives at the Basorun Islamic High School event.
“This is a tragic and deeply painful moment for all of us in Oyo State. My thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost their precious children, and I extend my deepest sympathies to them,” he said.
He praised the swift response of the Oyo State Government, led by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi, who promptly mobilized medical and emergency teams to assist the victims.
