Easter Symbolizes Love, Redemption, Hope, and New Beginnings – Hon. Comforter Felicitates Christians, Prays for Nigerians
The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency I in the Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman of the House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Inclusion has charged Christians to maintain love, kindness, and forgiveness toward everyone, irrespective of faith differences, just as God has shown to the human race.
Hon. Comforter made this statement while extending her Easter greetings to Christians, her constituents, residents of Ibadan North, the people of Oyo State, and Nigerians across the country in commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
According to a statement signed by her media team and made available to the press, Hon. Comforter conveyed the greetings in a message marking the 2026 Easter celebration and reemphasized that living by love, kindness, and forgiveness allows peace to coexist with religious harmony. She said:

The lawmaker explained that the Easter season is a time for reflection, gratitude, and community solidarity, encouraging citizens to care for one another and spread kindness. She also offered a prayer for the nation, stating:
“May our nation experience renewed hope, harmony, and progress. May peace reign in our hearts and communities, and may we continue to work together for the common good.”
