As the 1st of May marks the day adopted all over the world to mark worker’s day, Oyo State House of Assembly Elect for Ibadan North Constituency1, Hon (Dr) Olufunke Comforter, Adeniyi Olajide has penned her good wishes and showered accolades on workers all over Nigeria, particularly in Oyo state and seeks maximum support for Governor Makinde for smooth and top-notch delivery of good governance in Omituntun 2.0.
According to a statement made available to Journalists a copy forwarded to Eagle’s Sight News in the early hours of Monday, she stated,
“As this International Labour Day, is celebrated to recognize the contributions of workers and honor the struggle and movement of workers seeking justice, equality, and fairness, I pray that this day and beyond bring more good tidings to all the workers in Oyo State, Nigeria and the entire globe.
I celebrate our Darling Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde who is the first citizen and worker serving the state, over his sterling performances and indefatigable efforts to ensure he put smiles on the faces of the workers in the state. Makinde’ has indeed done well and his stellar performance toward the workers deserves some accolades.
We are all workers serving a purpose in one way or another hence as Makinde won’t stop motivating us, I also implore us to be diligent and committed to the progress of the state and humanity at large.
I also urge the government across all level to continue motivating and rewarding laborers to the maximum such as Makinde always do in Oyo since the contributions of workers can never be overlooked”

According to her, the quintessential of laborers is having a rest of mind for a good job without huge supervision, adding that workers are to be valued all over the world, particularly in Nigeria.

Comforter pointed out that, workers are characterized and endowed with distinct intellects; and these skills when accorded make the impossible a done task.
