Makinde Emerges APM Presidential Candidate, Receives Certificate of Return

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has emerged as the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) following a consensus endorsement by party stakeholders.

Speaking at the event, the National Chairman of the APM, Alhaji Yusuf Dantali, described the selection process as one of the most peaceful and harmonious political exercises in Nigeria’s history.

Dantali subsequently presented the party’s flag and certificate of return to Makinde, formally confirming his candidacy.

The governor’s affirmation as the party’s consensus presidential candidate received unanimous support from the chairmen of the APM across all 36 states of the federation.

The event, currently underway, is taking place at Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall in Ibadan.
