BREAKING:Tension as Ex- Power Minister Adelabu’s Sister, Twin Sons Kidnapped by Gunmen in Ibadan
Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the younger sister of former Minister of Power and APC gubernatorial aspirant, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has reportedly been abducted by unidentified gunmen alongside her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to information made available to journalists, the incident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, while Mrs. John-Paul was taking the children to school.
The victims were said to have been intercepted and taken away by the armed assailants, causing anxiety among family members and residents.
The abduction was confirmed by the family in a statement issued by Comrade Femi Awogboro, Media Aide to Chief Adelabu, who appealed for calm as efforts continue toward securing the safe release of the victims.
