Just In: DSS Makes Fresh Response Over NLC Headquarters Invasion
The Department of State Security (DSS) Thursday, denied knowledge of the invasion of the Labour House, the headquarters of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC.
The DSS in a tweet at the @OfficialDSSNG, X handle, said, “Please kindly note that the Service (DSS) did not carry out any operation at the NLC office in Abuja.”
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) had Wednesday raised alarm over the invasion of its offices at the Labour House, Abuja, where books and other valuables were carted away.
Benson Upah, Head of Information at the NLC, had in a statement, on Wednesday, said the security operatives invaded the house at about 8.30 pm long after the close of work. Business Ng reports.
The troop of heavily armed security operatives invaded the Labour House, Central Business District, Abuja which serves as the National Headquarters and Secretariat of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
