Odidiomo mobilises Ibarapa APM stakeholders for grassroots victory in 2027
Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide Odidiomo, member representing Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency of Oyo State in the House of Representatives and candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) for Oyo South Senatorial District in 2027, has charged party executive members and stakeholders across Ibarapaland to take the APM political gospel directly to every nook and cranny of their respective wards and polling units.
Hon. Adedeji Olajide gave this charge while speaking during an expansive strategic harmonisation meeting with party leaders, community mobilisers and grassroots structures in Ibarapaland, where he declared that securing a decisive electoral victory in 2027 requires an aggressive, door-to-door campaign model that actively engages voters in their homes, market units and farm settlements.
The two-term APM lawmaker emphasised that every member, from ward executives to grassroots canvassers, remains an equal and vital stakeholder in the APM victory project, stressing that political dominance is built on genuine grassroots connection rather than elite complacency.
While urging members to fearlessly showcase the Allied Peoples’ Movement’s transformative vision, visible accomplishments and pro-people legislative agenda, he noted that effective political representation and equitable distribution of democratic dividends across all nine local government areas of Oyo South can only be fully realised when the party establishes an unshakeable grip on legislative governance at the National Assembly.
Unveiling key aspects of his senatorial vision tailored specifically for Ibarapaland, Hon. Olajide Odidiomo once again pledged that he would prioritise bridging the longstanding infrastructural and developmental gaps between the Ibadan urban centre and the Ibarapa agrarian belt once he assumes office as senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District.
He reiterated his commitment to securing direct federal funding for ICT innovation hubs, agricultural value chain expansion, youth skills acquisition programmes, rural access roads and enhanced regional security arrangements.
He reminded the stakeholders present at the forum of the task ahead and urged aggrieved party members across all wards to bury past misgivings, embrace total reconciliation and work as a united political family to build a powerful campaign network capable of outsmarting all political opposition in the state.
Passing a unanimous vote of confidence in Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide’s senatorial bid under the APM platform, party executives, ward leaders and community stakeholders reaffirmed their unalloyed loyalty to his leadership. The leaders pledged to return to their various units to immediately establish canvasser committees, coordinate local door-to-door mobilisation and secure a sweeping, historic electoral victory for Odidiomo and the APM across Ibarapaland in the 2027 general elections.
