₦200m Allegation Rocks Oriyomi Hamzat’s Camp: Supporters Demand Answers Over Presidency Visit

Cracks appear to have emerged within the support base of popular Ibadan-based broadcaster and Agidigbo FM owner, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, as some of his loyal supporters have openly accused him of manipulation, inconsistency and double standards.

The aggrieved supporters are demanding a clear and rational explanation behind what they described as a sudden shift in his stance, alleging that while he previously told them President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not performed well, he allegedly received funds during his recent visit to the Presidency and has since failed to account for how it was spent.

According to the supporters, the controversy deepened after a popular caller and commentator, Baba Igbinsola, alleged that Hamzat collected the sum of Two Hundred Million Naira during the visit.

One of the supporters who expressed disappointment said:
“He told us that Tinubu has not done well and made us believe he was on our side. But after receiving funds when he visited the Presidency, he couldn’t explain how he spent the money until Baba Igbinsola said he collected two hundred million. Isn’t that an evidence that we can’t trust him?”

Another supporter alleged that Hamzat’s inability to provide a detailed breakdown of the alleged fund has eroded trust among many who once believed in his sincerity and advocacy for the masses.

The group said they are not driven by hatred, but by a desire for truth and transparency from a man many of them have looked up to as the voice of the common man. They insisted that if such a huge amount was truly collected on behalf of the people, accountability is necessary.

They further alleged that what they described as Hamzat’s “easy stitching” and reconciliation without clear explanation raises questions about his principles and commitment to the masses.
