Makinde Presents Staff of Office to Oba Ladoja as 44th Olubadan

Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has officially presented the Staff of Office to His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Sen.) Rasheed Adewolu Akanmu Ladoja, AruSA I, confirming him as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The ceremony, held at Mapo Hall in Ibadan, was attended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, traditional rulers, political leaders, business executives, and dignitaries from across Nigeria.

Governor Makinde described the coronation as a milestone in the history of Ibadan, expressing optimism that Oba Ladoja’s reign will bring peace, unity, and development to the city.

The Staff of Office presentation formally signifies the enthronement of Oba Ladoja as the custodian of Ibadan’s culture and traditions.
