Just In: Oyo PDP State Congress Extended – Check New Date

Ibadan, Oyo State – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has announced an extension of its 2025 State Congress. Originally scheduled to conclude on Saturday, September 27, the congress will now end on Monday, September 29, at Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, with proceedings set to commence by 9:00 a.m.

The Acting Publicity Secretary of the party, Micheal Ogunsina, confirmed the change in a statement, apologizing for any inconvenience the rescheduling may cause. According to Ogunsina, all other previously communicated details regarding the congress remain valid.

The PDP State Congress, which brings together party members, elders, stakeholders, political office holders, and delegates, is expected to conclude with the election of party executives and other leadership matters for the state.
