Makinde Names Ex-lawmaker Fijabi as Chairman of Oyo@50 Anniversary Committee

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has appointed former House of Representatives member, Hon. Saheed Akinade Fijabi, to head the committee in charge of organizing activities for the state’s 50th anniversary celebration. Eagles Sight News has gathered 

The governor, in a letter signed by his Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, announced the appointment of the 11-member committee, on Monday.

Other members of the committee include a former Head of Service of the state, Alhaja Ololade Agboola (Deputy Chairman); Dr Z.O. Ajuwon, OON; Mustapha Razaq Areo; Alhaja Fatimah Ololade Azeez; S.A. Adejumo; and Pastor John Olasunkanmi Alabi.

Other members of the committee are Alhaji A.K. Bello; Mrs Ronke Adedayo (Secretary); COMPOL Fatai Owoseni (rtd) and the Director General of Protocol, Mr Samuel Adegboyega Badejo.

The appointment is with immediate effect.
