Amusan Launches Asiwaju Support Group to Rally Continued Support for PBAT Until 2031

Hon. Dr. Jelili Kayode Amusan, the newly decorated Tinubu National Think Thank Patron has officially launched the Asiwaju Support Group for PBAT till 2031. The event was attended by representatives from all local governments in Ogun State, Members of the group included former councillors, former local government chairmen and other political leaders across the state.

During the launching, participants unanimously pledged their support for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT).

Hon. Dr. Jelili Kayode Amusan also pledged his full support to the group across all the 236 wards of Ogun State and assuring members of his commitment to the convergence and strengthening of the movement.

While addressing the gathering, Dr. Amusan stated clearly that he would, for now, remain silent on whether he intends to contest the 2027 Ogun State governorship election. He noted that his name has been mentioned more than he expected, attributing this to his selfless and tireless service during his years in the House of Representatives. He drew a comparison with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has not made any declaration regarding future political ambitions but is currently focused on national development and delivering good governance to Nigerians.

Dr. Amusan’s political stance and views were strongly appreciated by members of the Asiwaju Support Group for PBAT till 2031, who commended his leadership, loyalty and dedication by the members of the group.
