Cabinet Reshuffle; Makinde Redeploys Faosat Sanni to Women Affairs, Commends Balogun’s Service

Governor of Oyo State, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, redeploying Alhaja Faosat Joke Sanni to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion with immediate effect.

Sanni replaces Honourable (Mrs.) Toyin Balogun, who has been relieved of her appointment.

Governor Makinde thanked Mrs. Balogun for her contributions to the development of Oyo State and wished her success in her future endeavours.

Sanni previously served as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion between 2019 and 2023 before she was moved to the Ministry of Special Duties in 2023. She was recently redeployed to the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative before her latest reassignment.

The reshuffle takes immediate effect.
