Hon. Comforter, Other APM Candidates Celebrate RCCG Jesus Chancery at 25th Anniversary
IBADAN — Hon. Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1, has joined other candidates and leaders of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Jesus Chancery, Old Bodija, Ibadan, on Sunday, September 27, 2026, to commemorate the church’s 25th Anniversary and Thanksgiving Celebration.
The anniversary, which brought together members of the church, invited guests and well-wishers, featured thanksgiving, prayers, worship, ministrations and fundraising towards the continued development of the church.
According to a report made available to the press through the Hon. Comforter Media Team, Hon. Comforter who also is the APM candidate for Ibadan North constituency 1 was among the APM candidates and representatives who joined the congregation to celebrate the church’s Silver Jubilee and express their support for the anniversary programme.
Other APM representatives and candidates at the celebration included Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, APM Oyo State Gubernatorial Candidate, represented by Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON; Rt. Hon. Stanley Olajide ODIDI-OMO, APM Oyo South Senatorial Candidate, also represented by Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON; Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON, APM Candidate for Ibadan North Federal Constituency; Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade ONALA, APM Candidate for Ibadan North Local Government Chairmanship, represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Mustapha Hamid; Hon. Babajide Gabriel Adebayo, APM Candidate for Ibadan North State Constituency II; and Alhaji Comrade S. A. Mustapha, APM Chairman, Ibadan North.
The APM delegation was warmly received by the church leadership and members, who expressed appreciation for their presence and support during the landmark anniversary celebration.
Special prayers were offered for the visiting APM candidates, with prayers for God’s guidance, protection, wisdom and favour as they prepare for the forthcoming general election.
The congregation also extended goodwill to the candidates and wished them well in their respective endeavours.
The 25th Anniversary celebration commenced on September 24 and culminated in the Grand Finale and Thanksgiving on September 27, 2026. The celebration provided an opportunity for the church community to reflect on its 25-year journey and celebrate what members described as God’s faithfulness.
The programme also featured fundraising in support of the church’s continued development and growth, with members, guests and well-wishers contributing towards its advancement and various programmes.
Speaking through the delegation, Hon. Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide expressed appreciation to the church leadership and members for the warm reception, prayers, goodwill and hospitality extended to the APM representatives.
She congratulated RCCG Jesus Chancery, Old Bodija, on its 25th anniversary and wished the church continued growth, peace and greater impact in Ibadan, Oyo State and beyond.
