Makinde’s Ally, Dare Adeleke Debunks Violence During Primaries At Ibadan South-East

Eagle’s Sight News reports that Oyo PDP. Chieftain Dare Adeleke who is equally the chairman of Pacesetter Transport System in Oyo state has debunked news that there were violences and intimidations at the House of Assembly and House of Representatives of the People’s Democratic Party Primaries that held today at Ibadan South East.

Recall there were several reports earlier that allegedly claimed that Amb Arapaja and Mr Adeleke used soldiers to chased delegates away. To find out the authenticity of this news this reliable onlinenewspaper’Eaglessightnews’ through one of our correspondence in Ibadan placed a call to Mr Adeleke.

Responding to this bizarre news, Adeleke stressed that “the news circulating on air was fabricated by enemies of progress who intentionally want to bring the image of PDP down.

“There is nothing such as violence and intimidation of delegates. I was only there as an observer. It is my local government. I am one of the leaders there” Dare Adeleke added.

Also, as contained in statement forwarded to journalists on Sunday in Ibadan , Adeleke said that the reports going round are “mischievous, fake and malicious news targeted at bringing down and maligning PDP.

“The oppositions are at it again, they have started spreading false, fake, malicious and demonic stories in an aim to bring opprobrium to our great party, the PDP.

“News making the rounds that the Ibadan South East primary was violent, was concocted from the pit of Hell.

“How can people twist facts so brazingly?’ He asked.

According to Adeleke who expressed shock at what he calls “strange news”: The election went on freely without any rancour at all.

“Why did the pro – Apc online vuvuzela continue to dish out false news in this manner? Not verifying the outright lies before going to the press is obnoxious. The fact is they rushed to publish their unprofessional and unethical story because they were fed by agents of the APC who know nothing about our congress or how it was held.” Adeleke noted.

The down to earth truth is that: “We had a very peaceful congress at our Local Govt Secretariat, Mapo Ibadan.”

The Pace Setter Transport boss disclosed that Modiu Opeyemi Akande emerged as the candidate of the PDP.

Adeleke stressed that neither himself nor Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, chased or intimidated anyone as is being “diabolically alleged.”

“We are from Ibadan South East constituency and we have every right to make the Congress a successful one despite not having voting rights”, he affirmed.

He also disclosed that INEC officials, the SSS and representatives of the party were on ground to witness the process.
