As we celebrate this sacred Eid-ul-Adha, our hearts in Oyo State are heavy with pain and deep concern over the tragic incident in Oriire Local Government, where innocent pupils, teachers, and members of our community were abducted from their schools in a moment that has shaken the conscience of our dear state.
This season, which embodies sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and unwavering faith in Allah (SWT), comes at a time when joy and sorrow stand side by side. While many families gather in celebration, exchange greetings, and share meals in peace, some homes remain in silence and tears, parents waiting anxiously, praying endlessly, and holding on to hope for the safe return of their children and loved ones.

We understand your fears, we feel your grief, and we are united with you in prayers for divine intervention and strength.
