The Member representing Ibadan North Constituency I in the Oyo State House of Assembly and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the 2027 election, Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide, JP (Akoni Odu’a Heroine), has commended the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, for his visionary leadership and commitment to infrastructural development following the commissioning of three major projects at the Bodija International Market.
Hon. Comforter also lauded the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for honouring the invitation to officially commission the landmark projects, describing his presence as a demonstration of his administration’s unwavering commitment to grassroots development and economic growth.
The commissioned projects include the dualisation of the Bodija International Market access road, the construction of a Fire Service Office to enhance emergency response and safety within the market, and the development of ultramodern carpark with lock-up shops aimed at improving the trading environment for merchants and investors.
According to Hon. Comforter, these projects will significantly boost commercial activities, improve accessibility, enhance public safety, and create a more conducive atmosphere for businesses to thrive within one of the largest markets in Oyo State.
