In a heartfelt message of goodwill and party loyalty, the former Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Waheed Akanbi Biiro, has congratulated Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DON) on his emergence as the consensus candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election.

Eagles Sight News reports that the congratulatory message followed the outcome of a strategic consultative meeting held in Ibadan on Friday, where PDP leaders, under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, endorsed Hon. Oyekunle as the party’s flagbearer.

Hon. Biiro, who was one of the aspirants that stepped down during the consensus arrangement, expressed his commitment to the unity and progress of the party, emphasizing his total support for the consensus decision.

“I sincerely congratulate my brother and friend, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON, on his emergence as the PDP consensus candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election.
