Just In: Lagos lawmaker Dies At Tinubu Rally In Jos| Eaglessightnews
A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Sobur Olayiwola Olawale otherwise known as ‘Omititi’ has slumped and died in Jos, Plateau State.
The lawmaker died on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, after he reportedly slumped at the Jos Airport on his way back to Lagos from the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign in Jos.
According to Intelregion, the late Olawale was born in 1964. He represented Mushin Constituency II at the State House of Assembly.
He was the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government at the Assembly
Last Friday, during a novelty football match to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, the late lawmaker played in the match as the goalkeeper.
His death has thrown the State House of Assembly into mourning.
The lawmaker is survived by a wife and three children.
The Lagos State House of Assembly is yet to issue a statement on his demise.
Similarly, the ruling party is yet to issue statement concerning his death as of press time.
