GSM Advocates, a prominent group supporting Governor Seyi Makinde, has reaffirmed its commitment to his administration’s progress in Oyo State and beyond.
The renewed proclamation is unveiled during a meeting for Seyi Makinde’s beyond 2027 and his advancement held at Oluyole Local Government Council in Ibadan ,Oyo State.
The meeting, coordinated by Adeniji Bashorun, took a new shape when Akeem Olatunji, Oluyole Local Government Chairman and GSM Advocates’ Leader, further disclosed the meeting’s purpose.
The Local Government Chairman and GSM Advocates’ Initiator, Akeem Olatunji praised members for their resilience and continuous support for the Governor Makinde led administration.
Olatunji also emphasized the need for renewed strength and passion in promoting Governor Makinde beyond 2027, cautioning against entitlement mentality. He warned members to be mindful of their political interests and avoid promoting unauthorized candidates, as Governor Makinde has not endorsed anyone for the 2027 governorship election.
Executive Assistant Idowu Ogedengbe who represented Governor Makinde , applauded Governor Makinde and Akeem Olatunji’s resilience, stressing the importance of relationships. He attributed his entry into politics to his economic and accounting background, which caught the Governor’s attention. Ogedengbe praised Governor Makinde as a brand that can be passionately promoted anywhere.
The Oluyole Council Boss ,Engr Olatunji and Executive Assistant to the Governor , Seyi Makinde further casted their votes of confidence and reaffirmed their support to Makinde beyond 2027 .
The meeting concluded with GSM Advocates unveiling the support and commitment to the progress of Governor Makinde beyond 2027 and presentation of award for best performing Local Government Chairman in Oyo State to Akeem Olatunji
