Breaking:Oyo Govt Releases First Batch of Newly Recruited SUBEB Teachers, Caregivers
The Oyo State Government through the Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has disclosed the release of first batch of the newly recruited 5,600 primary school teachers and 80 caregivers. Eagle’s Sight News has gathered.
This development marks a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to bolster its education sector.
According to Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, SUBEB Chairman, the recruitment list was formally approved by Oyo State Governor, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde.
The newly employed teachers and caregivers constitute the first batch of successful applicants from the recent recruitment exercise conducted by OYOSUBEB.

The list will be available on the portal starting Saturday, November 23, 2024.

Dr. Adeniran emphasized that the 5,600 successful teaching applicants and 80 caregivers will undergo verification at the Board’s headquarters.
Details regarding the verification exercise timeline and other relevant information will be communicated to successful candidates in due course.
The recruitment process was merit-based, devoid of political, religious, ethnic, or gender bias.
Dr. Adeniran urged the newly recruited teachers to view their employment as a call to duty, emphasizing the importance of diligence and dedication.
Additionally, the SUBEB Chairman assured that the recruitment exercise is ongoing, with more successful applicants to be employed soon.
