1. The Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld the election of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State. Delivering judgment in the appeal by former governor, Gboyega Oyetola, a five-member panel held that the appeal lacked “any scintilla of merit.”
2. Southwest PDP Vice Chairman, Soji Adagunodo, an ally of Osun Governor , Adeleke is dead.The report of Adagunodo’s death came amidst jubilation of supreme court’s victory over the last gubernatarial election in Osun state
3. Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, on Tuesday, said his offer to buy Nigerian conglomerate, Transnational Corporation Plc, for N250bn was rejected. Otedola made some allegations against the Chairman of Transcorp, Tony Elumelu, in a statement he issued to TheCable, weeks after he acquired stakes in Transcorp and sold the shares.
4. Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has said he will not serve as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) under the administration of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu. El-Rufai played a key role in the power shift from north to south, an arrangement which worked in favour of President-elect Bola Tinubu.

5. President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his London trip by a week over an appointment with his dentist. Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, announced this in a statement on Tuesday.
6. The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal will today hear the motions brought by the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, over the outcome of the February 25 election. The presiding justice of the tribunal, Justice Haruna Tsammani, had on Monday scheduled the hearing on the responses to pre-hearing questions by the parties on Obi and LP’s petition.
7. Seven people are feared killed and several others hospitalised after drinking a tea suspected to have been made with a local leaf known as Zakami at a wedding ceremony in Kano. Eyewitness accounts said it affected nearly 50 people and that some were still missing. The incident happened in the Sheka area of Kumbotso Local Government of Kano metropolis.
8. A 14-year-old boy in Hotoro Quarters in Kano, Kano State, who was declared missing by his parents sometime in March has been found in the Republic of Togo. According to a Freedom Radio, Kano programme, the boy was found alongside another boy, also from Nigeria, roaming on a street in Togo, looking for food.

9. Reports emerged Tuesday that at least five aspirants for the office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the coming 10th National Assembly, who are aggrieved with the zoning plan of the All Progressives Congress, are currently grouping against the party’s adopted candidates.
10. Men of the Edo State Police Command have arrested an official of the Nigerian Navy, Ibrahim Adamu (25); and an operative of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Abdullahi Abdulwahab (26), over alleged car snatching and armed robbery. The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, while parading the suspects on Tuesday, said they were arrested in military uniforms in Ekpoma by operatives while acting on credible information.
11. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says it has filed a motion on notice before the presidential election petition tribunal, for a live broadcast of the proceedings of the court. PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, who disclosed this, at a press briefing, in Abuja, said the motion is in the interest of openness.
