The 33-year-old multiple Grammy winner unveiled this via a video shared on his Instagram page. He stated that if it weren’t for his music career, he would have ended up a virgin.

Ed Sheeran’s statement reads: “If I wasn’t a musician, I’d be a virgin,” he shared.

Sheeran’s first publicly known relationship was with Scottish singer Nina Nesbitt in 2012. Nesbitt is the subject of Sheeran’s songs ‘Nina’ and ‘Photograph’.

In 2014, Sheeran was in a relationship with Athina Andrelos, but they broke up in February 2015. She is the inspiration behind his song ‘Thinking Out Loud’. In July 2015, Sheeran began a relationship with childhood friend Cherry Seaborn.

They announced their engagement in January 2018 and were married a year later. Cherry is the inspiration behind Sheeran’s song ‘Perfect’. The couple welcomed their first daughter in 2020 and their second daughter on May 19, 2022.”
