In a thrilling atmosphere Friday lawmakers, government officials, and political juggernauts joined the Deputy National Chairman of People’s Democratic Party , Amb Taofeek Arapaja to the Oyo NUJ Press week dinner at Jogor Center in Ibadan. Eaglessightnews reports.

This is just as the Oyo State Union of Journalists honors the former deputy governor, Amb Taofeek Arapaja as the most consistent politician of year.

Eaglessightnews recalls that the Nigeria Union of Journalist ,Oyo State Chapter has begun its press week since Sunday .

Today’s dinner and presentation of awards to dignitaries, public figures who  have impacted their community positively  is to mark the union press week grand finale.

Amongst the lawmakers who are currently gracing the special event as at the pressing time include Hon(Dr) Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi Olajide.

Comforter while speaking to eaglessightnews.com.ng described the Nuj award conferred Arapaja as timely and worth it.  She further described Arapaja as a man who has influenced many lives positively and worthy of emulation.

Present in the special event include, Former public secretary of the Oyo State People’s Democratic Party,Engr Akeem Olatunji, Lawmaker representing Ogbomosho North Hon Bunmi Oluranti(Boom), Chief Press Secretary to Oyo Governor, Sulaimon Olarenwaju among others.
